North Holland is a province in the north-west of the Netherlands. With large cities such as Alkmaar, Haarlem and Hoorn, this province is definitely worth a visit. North Holland consists largely of a headland between the North Sea, the Wadden Sea and the IJsselmeer. On the east coast are historic towns such as Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Medemblik, Monnickendam and Edam. In the village centre of Zwaag (near Hoorn), we have a very nice cottage for two people available with amenities within walking distance.
